In the early 1900’s postcards became the way people communicated with one another.

Very much like texting is today. A small request , invite or talking about the weather, family

or where they had been.

It was all about communication. And it still is all about communication.

When I began this series I wanted to start at the beginning of our language, the ALPHABET.

I started collecting postcards and made them my own. Each letter represented a time in history.

Each child unknown but with a narrative to tell.
